DBT Star Scheme, 2016 - 2017

It has remained our goal to encourage women students to pursue higher education and career in science. Miranda House successfully used the DBT Star College Scheme in creating an environment which provided students and faculty an exposure to the latest path-breaking research through numerous workshops and seminars.

Through Minor and Major projects funded by the DBT Star Scheme, the College was able to provide students an opportunity to do research at undergraduate level. Participating Departments and faculty members collected student feedback through informal channels or survey forms and analyzed to improve the programme further. Feedback was also taken from Advisory Committee members to improve the overall implementation of the scheme.
