MIRANDA HOUSE HAS BEEN RANKED NO.1 AMONG COLLEGES BY NIRF RANKING 2023

We urge alumnae to donate funds to enable MHAA to increase the number of such Scholarships in the future.

Miranda House Alumnae Association Scholarships

MHAA proudly instituted these Scholarships in 2008. The awards are given annually to two Second Year students, one from the Science stream and the other from the Humanities/ Social Science stream. The Scholarships recognize both academic merit and economic needs. Selection is by a committee of faculty that includes members of MHAA. The aim of the Scholarships is to facilitate the education of bright students from less economically privileged backgrounds who deserve recognition for their academic performance.

A trust fund of Rs. 2,12,000 was donated to the College to institute these Scholarships of Rs. 6000 each. The first Scholarships were given on Founders Day, 7 March 2009.
