Background and Partnership Overview
With the support of PNB Housing Finance Ltd. (PNBHFL), the project aims to implement a need-based scholarship programme for undergraduate students from economically weaker sections. This initiative, launched under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme of the Pehel Foundation—the philanthropic arm of PNBHFL—aims to advance educational equity by mitigating financial barriers that hinder access to higher education.
The collaboration between PNB housing, Respect India and Miranda House is grounded in the shared commitment of all three partners to promote academic excellence, social inclusion, and empowerment through education. The scholarship is designed to support meritorious students in their pursuit of higher studies by providing direct financial assistance towards academic expenses.
Total Number of 195 students have been supported for their entire Undergraduate Programme.
